Custom Hand Made Frames or Standard Frames

When purchasing a painting you have the option to have the most beautifully made frames available, and they are all hand made by the artist. Matt is now working on a new series of moldings specifically designed for his oil paintings. The profiles will be shaped from a rough block of lumber by Matt's personal furniture maker and then hand carved, stressed and finished by Matt.

Standard framing is available as well. This is pre-existing molding manufactured by a reputable molding company. All of Matt's paintngs are matched with the appropriate style frames before leaving the studio. Standard profiles cost considerably less because they are not hand made. This would be a good choice for the client who may want to re-frame the piece at some time in the future.
